Never Speak a Foreign Language to an MP

When Rick graduated from high school he immediately joined the Air Force.  He was given an aptitude test right off and it showed he had a gift for learning the Czech language.  So the Language school in the Air Force taught him how to speak Czech.  Then he flew around in a C130 intercepting and translating any Czech transmissions that he heard. 

One day during free time he and a buddy were headed back to the barracks when they noticed two other airman shooting off fireworks.  Rick and his friend knew immediately these guys were going to get into trouble with the MPs.  But rather than go back to the barracks they decided it would be fun to watch these two numskulls get in trouble.  Well it didn't take long for the MPs to get there and arrest all of the guys including Rick and his buddy.  Didn't matter that they weren't shooting the fireworks off ....they were guilty by association.

So the MPs began questioning Rick and his buddy and his buddy being very nervous at being arrested by the MPs asked Rick in Czech what he thinks they are going to do with them.  Well that escalated everything very quickly!  This was no longer merely throwing fireworks on the base....these were potential spies!  The other 2 guys got released but Rick and his buddy spent some time in a holding room until their commanding officer came and bailed them out so to speak.

The moral of the story is you will always be known for what your friends do....good or bad....and NEVER speak a foreign language to an MP.
